CARTERSVILLE, GA – Savoy Automobile Museum is thrilled to unveil its 2024 exhibition themes*, promising a dynamic and diverse showcase for automotive enthusiasts. The museum is committed to providing new experiences, with a rotating series of temporary exhibits. This approach ensures that visitors can return time and time again, discovering something new. The complete list of exhibit themes, along with the featured vehicles, is conveniently available on our website. As each exhibit opens, the exciting lineup of cars will be added, allowing patrons to anticipate the treasures that await them at Savoy Automobile Museum. Below is the 2024 exhibit theme schedule:

  • Wooden Wonders– Now – May 5, 2024 -A unique display of woodie wagons with vintage wooden boats in tow.
  • Chip Foose’s Garage– February 6 – June 2, 2024 – What is in Chip Foose’s personal collection? What cars in Chip’s garage does he like to cruise around town in? Find out in this exclusive exhibition!
  • Women in Motorsports– March 5 – July 7, 2024 – In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, a collaboration between Women in Motorsports North America and Savoy featuring women racers and their cars.
  • Movie Cars & Cars of the Stars– April 2 – August 4, 2024 – An exhibition showcasing famous cars of the box office, both on screen and owned by the stars.
  • Rad Cars of the ‘80s & ‘90s– May 7 – August 25, 2024 – A display of automobiles from the 1980s and 1990s from within the Savoy Collection.
  • Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, Part 1– June 4 – September 29, 2024 – A collaborative exhibition with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum highlighting vintage and historic racecars from their famed collection.
  • Moonshine Runners– July 9 – November 3, 2024 – During the prohibition era, bootleggers would modify cars and trucks for power, speed, and stability to transport illegal liquors in hopes of outrunning the law. This exhibition will feature examples of these early-era hotrods.
  • Prominent Packards– August 6 – December 1, 2024 – Want to know more about a Packard? “Ask the Man Who Owns One.” For more than 60 years, Packard Motor Car Company produced some of the most sought-after, reliable, and luxurious cars on the market at the time. This exhibition features examples from the brand’s iconic production models.
  • Savoy Survivors– August 27, 2024 – January 5, 2025 – A display from within the Savoy Collection featuring automobiles without significant modifications or restoration work, retaining many of their original components, finishes, and characteristics.
  • Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, Part 2– October 1, 2024 – February 2, 2025 – A collaborative exhibition with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum highlighting Indianapolis 500 winning racecars.
  • High-Performance Sportscars– November 5, 2024 – March 2, 2025 – Limited production, top-of-the-line exotics, supercars, and hypercars.
  • Collectible Japanese Cars – December 3, 2024 – March 30, 2025 – This exhibition will feature Japanese sports cars, touring cars, and cars in motorsports built exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) that have garnered the attention of car collectors.
