Avondale, Arizona (August 8, 2023) – Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) announced in March its third annual Women with Drive – Driven by Mobil 1 (WWD III) summit on November 7-8 at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. This year’s event date follows the NASCAR Series championship race of the season and will be held at Jeff Gordon’s – The Barn Brewed by Busch Light within the Phoenix Raceway Complex.

Two full days of sessions with over 60-panel speakers, 15 moderators, seven keynote speakers, two award announcements, and much more are on the agenda for this exciting conference. This year WWD III has added breakout sessions because last year’s attendees requested a variety of opportunities to learn and network. Nine different breakout sessions are planned with titles such as “Advancing Careers in the Motorsports Industry/Internships,” “Is Technology the Best Opportunity to Shine,” and “The Bigger Picture of Motorsports,” to name a few.

“We are so proud of our industry-supported Women with Drive Summit and how we’ve grown in such a short time,” said WIMNA Co-Founder and WWD III Co-Chair Lyn St. James. “Today, we are also announcing our first ‘Fireside Chat’ with Executive Vice Chair of NASCAR, Lesa Kennedy, and NASCAR President Steve Phelps. Having these two motorsports leaders on the Women With Drive stage to share their knowledge and stories will be a tremendous bonus for our attendees.”

“We have so many successful, influential, and skilled speakers and panelists, which is going to make this year’s Women with Drive Summit the best yet,” said WWD III Co-Chair and WIMNA Executive Director Cindy Sisson. “We provided a survey after last year’s Summit to get important feedback from the attendees. We have implemented several of these recommendations and requests to improve the Summit as we expand. We have sold out in years one and two, and even though we have a larger area, we encourage people to sign up.”

“The Women with Drive Summit is one of the most important events we do in North America for women in motorsports,” said WIMNA Co-Founder Beth Paretta. “I’ve often said that one way to generate change and growth is to create more seats at the table. We’ve expounded upon this thought.”
